As I make the most of my disability leave, I have novels surrounding me. Last book I finished in two days is "It Starts With Us", by Colleen Hoover. It is the continuation of "It Ends With Us", this time, the chapters and pages are less heart-wrenching yet shared ambience of joy, forgiveness, hope and real love.
As a staple of habit ,I folded a page that has the most striking written words.
"Ryle is clinging to me like I can make this better, and at one point in time I thought I could. He's a broken man, but he isn't broken because of me. He was broken before he met me. Sometimes people think if they love a broken person enough, they can be what finally repairs them, but the problem with that is the other person just ends up broken, too."
It Ends With Us movie will be shown on August 09 with one of my favorite actresses, Blake Lively as Lily Bloom. It is my wish the two novels will both become alive on the wide screen.
