Michelle Ann at Puroland

 

It is in my short Bucket List to see Hello Kitty in Tokyo and not anywhere else so last week, me, my cousins Crystal and Arlette trooped to Sanrio Puroland to make my dream come true.

Michelle Ann had real fun at Puroland.

When Itzi Bitzi finally meets Hello Kitty.

Hello is my childhood virtual best friend. The feline who can light up my mood at any given time and seeing her at Lady Kitty House did exactly that, I was jumping and giggling to see her. The other old-time favorites My Melody and Little Twinkle Stars were there too plus the millennials and Gen Z penchants Cinnamonroll and Kuromi added color to our day at Puroland. 

I bought lots of trinkets that scream Sanrio- stationery sets, name stickers, socks, pens and of course, a Hello Kitty stuff toy. When we were planning the Japan itinerary, my sole request was to spend a day at Puroland. Soon as I set my feet at the entrance of the indoor- themed park, my gloomy heart felt tangible comfort. Unlike some events and people, Hello Kitty never disappoints. She kinda knows how to lift a troubled soul and offer it a warm hug. 

I finally got to say Hello to my Hello Kitty.  A day so special I will always remember.
