What a Feat!

 Today, on a very rare circumstance, I hit the gym and joined  back-to-back classes. Body Combat and Yoga. Whooaa!!! The last time I did Body Combat was weeks before the March 2020 lockdown and I didn't know I missed it until I began copying the moves of the instructor and my muscles  were suddenly singing from the boxing and jumping steps.

Afterwards a one- hour yoga session followed which was a perfect timing post- kicks and jumps. I like the balance and stretching yoga provides but what I love most about it is the mindful breathing it makes me do. I consciously do not hold my breath, rather I inhale and exhale calmly and purposefully. 

I do not regret waking up early on a Saturday morning at all. My mind and body are happy.  I wish that I won't have sore arms and legs tomorrow though.:)

Move. Kick. Breathe.
