Iskrambol!!!!!

 

Old school Iskrambol- a Pinoy version of dairy smoothie sprinkled with chocolate syrup and powdered milk. A childhood favorite of ours back then. Awesome cousin Jovel concocted it and she made it perfectly.

Flowers May Wither, But Not The Thought

 

This was given to me by a self- declared "Michelle's most favorite patient" on my last day in my previous job. The pot and flowers have been dumped in the trash but the card and thoughtful gesture I keep. Sometimes I think I still do a few good things here on earth.

Thoughtfulness. Thankfulness. Timeless.

U- Girls

 

We are the U- girls coz we love to hang- out at U- Grill, a Korean restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga.:) We get the same kind of meat, side dishes over and over again. The stories  both good and sad, the milestones and dreams that have to come to actuality yet, the unspoken trust and loyalty, the assurance that we are and we will be there for each other are shared over pork and beef belly, corn with melted cheese, sesame oil and steamed eggs.

Seriously, these two I hold close to my heart. They accept and love me for me.And I am grateful that I can bare my soul and place my heart on my sleeves confidently, knowing they won't judge, rather will sit with me with patience and love.

Here's to more food escapades and friendship bond.
